How to read property information
Zameen combines source records with its own calculations. Data Source Details shows available retrieval times, status and source links. Retrieval time is not necessarily the source publication date. Missing coverage is not evidence that a hazard, permit or record does not exist. No source organization endorses Zameen merely because its information is referenced.
County and government records
The research code supports Forsyth, Cobb, Gwinnett, DeKalb and Fulton counties in Georgia. Official GIS records can supply parcels, assessments, zoning, permits, sales and planning information. County website automation (qPublic, Assurance Gov, Forsyth land records and DeKalb IASWorld) and county media are enabled in production. No county or vendor authorization for this automation has been documented. Public access does not establish unlimited redistribution rights.
Official references: Forsyth GIS, Cobb GIS, Gwinnett assessor data, DeKalb GIS, and Fulton GIS. Consult current official records for ownership, title and boundary questions.
Flood information
Source: FEMA National Flood Hazard Layer (NFHL). Zameen intersects source flood polygons with parcel geometry to calculate areas and percentages. Those calculations are Zameen-derived and are not official flood, insurance or survey determinations.
Elevation and terrain
Source elevation: USGS 3DEP public-domain products where identified. Zameen derives slopes, high/low/average elevations, contours and viewshed information. Terrain tile fallback uses Mapzen Terrain Tiles on AWS; see the upstream dataset credits and licenses. These are not engineering or survey certifications.
Schools
School names, identifiers and coordinates use NCES EDGE and, where identified, county district data. Distances are calculated by Zameen or the route provider. These are not NCES rankings, recommendations, school assignments or enrollment guarantees.
Census geography may help identify jurisdictions; demographic steering is not a permitted use.
Maps and routing
The 2D map uses Google Maps; preserve its displayed logo and notices. See Google Maps terms and Google privacy. Street View is displayed under its own source restrictions and is not licensed here for download or republication.
3D maps use MapLibre software with MapTiler or OpenFreeMap / OpenMapTiles map data. © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL. Provider notices remain on the map.
Routing: © openrouteservice.org by HeiGIT, using OpenStreetMap data. Routes and driving times are estimates. Straight-line distances are labeled separately and do not represent driving distance. Production account plan rights require verification.
Open geographic layers and aerial imagery
Overture Maps supplies selected building, transportation and water layers. Theme-specific and underlying source licenses apply, including CDLA Permissive 2.0 and ODbL where identified. Zameen clipping and presentation do not erase those obligations.
Aerial imagery may use USDA National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP) scenes through Microsoft Planetary Computer; acquisition year matters. This does not grant rights to EagleView/Pictometry or other commercial county imagery.
Where rights-cleared Wikimedia content is displayed, its individual creator, source and license govern reuse; see Commons reuse guidance. No blanket license is granted for all online images. Street-photo providers (KartaView, Panoramax, Mapillary and OpenStreetMap-linked images) and county media are enabled in production. Per-image licenses are checked only for Wikimedia and Panoramax.
Licensed real-estate and external media status
Commercial FMLS/Matrix and Georgia MLS authorization is unverified; these integrations are enabled and run when configured. Gemini external-media discovery is enabled for Zillow and Redfin property pages and media hosts. This integration keeps acquired photos for internal display; it does not make them available for export or MLS publication. Finding an image through web search does not establish reuse rights, and these source names do not imply a partnership.
User information and derived analytics
User files and notes remain user-provided information, not official government records. Map measurements and summaries are Zameen-derived unless expressly identified otherwise. Verify significant conclusions with the original source.
Source-derived text, photographs and maps retain their own rights.
Corrections, updates and third-party rights
Source information can be incomplete or stale. We do not guarantee automatic propagation of every source correction or protected-record removal. Account holders can submit a correction or source-removal request; a verified public contact for nonusers must be supplied before launch.
Attribution does not replace permission. Do not remove notices or export, publish, train on or redistribute content without the relevant rights. Consult the Terms and Privacy Policy for intended use and data processing.
